Hey sorry if someone already put a topic thing about this but i gotta know. Is Ghost In A Shell good. I just remembered how tons of my friends said it was pretty good. So can someone tell me what they'd rate it themselves?

it was (from what I know) the forefront of CG in anime. plus its got great action and a confusing story.

Beyond having visuals that are still top rate, and having action sequences that will probably be mesmerizing otaku years from now, Ghost in the Shell is one of the deeper, more startlingly complex statements on humans and technology out there.
It's one of the bits of anime that truly justify the "more than big robots and schoolgirls" argument. The Ghost in the Shell movie is true evidence of anime as an artform. It's in the same league as Miyazaki's works, or (point of contention I'm sure) Akira. So, it's certainly something you should watch. |
