Why? No one outside of Japan wants to see an infomercial on AKB48.

i live in NY, USA and was just thinking a month ago about how I wish the AKB48 documentary had English subs. I really wanted to watch it, but it would be mostly pointless without English subs for me. I read this news and got really excited. So I guess you're wrong because I want to see it very badly. Also, JPopsuki is a the #1 torrent site for jpop and kpop and has many members that don't live in Japan. Guess which torrents always get a ton of activity: AKB48. sure most of their fans are naturally Japanese, but they have enough non-Japanese fans to warrant an English subbed release. so you're really off.
