I'm really, REALLY looking forward to see this anime series because the band Onmyouza (陰陽座) is gonna do the opening theme! I knew Onmyouza's gonna make it to the anime scene! XDDD
I'm also curious what's it all about, but just to make this way early, let's wait for April! Hehehe.

Holy crap, Onmyouza's doing an anime opening theme? That's rare for a visual kei band to do. I don't know whether to be happy or confused...I just don't want this to change their music or anything of that sort. They can do fine without anime. But oh well.
What's the anime about? Give us more info.

Onmyouza's more of a J-Metal band than a visual band, actually. Don't worry, they won't change their style of music whatsoever because' they've been influenced by heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc.

Visual kei isn't a genre. If you're a Japanse rock band, and you wear costumes/strange outfits, you're generally visual kei, no matter what you sound like. No, They sound little to nothing like Iron Maiden or Judas Preist at all. They're most likely influenced by X-Japan, maybe the Loudness, maybe Kuroyume. And Noh and Heian era poetry/writings, of course.

Basilisk is as close to a Ninja Scroll rip-off as you're ever going to get. Disgusting villans get cut up by samurai badass.
That's about it. The manga has boobs, maybe the anime will as well. Time shall tell!

Reviving this old topic since the first ep's released.
I've watched the first ep in raw. I love Onmyouza's opening theme Kouga Ninpouchou! The storyline's good to me.
