I would have preferred that he voiced Susumu Kodai again but i am ok with his return as Dessler.

Would have been good for consistency, but I'm okay with Daisuke Ono playing the much-younger Kodai.

That said, how often has a voice actor portrayed the primary protagonist and the primary antagonist in the one franchise?
