Could someone give me their personal oppinion on Yugo the Negotiator. It looks good but I want to see what you guys think before I decide to find and buy it, thanks. Peace out.

Yugo the Negotiator has been given a lot of good reviews, so it's probably a safe buy for most people. However, just to present a balanced viewpoint, I would like to mention that I found it incredibly dull and pretentious. It really didn't move me at all. Over the past couple of years, only a handful of titles have failed to interest me to this degree.
But your mileage may vary, and I'm sure someone is just about to chime in with a rave review. There's your balanced viewpoint, right there. - abunai |

You should also check out ANN's "Shelf Life" column. Bamboo's reviewed a few of the DVD's.
I have to say I that I was intrigued, but frustrated at the slow pace. I was disappointed that they didn't wrap up the 1st story in the 1st DVD. But now that I'm not as busy (writing a 30+ page paper), I'm thinking of giving the 2nd DVD a try. |

I've only seen the first 2 DVDs and will say that the series feels like a live action film based of the first arc. Strangely enough the closest thing I can compare it to is the Fox series 24. The main character is one who survives out of sheer determination and will, which I think is cool. I'm really looking forward two the second half.
