I dig the outfit, but I really wonder why it was a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Was it held in Japan or something? Seems completely random for a normal fashion show.

Well, it's not exactly clear from the article if this outfit was done with permission of the Japanese copyright holders. I suspect that is what ANN has tried to find out, but the company apparently hasn't responded yet. It wouldn't be the first time that a clothing company made unauthorized outfits based on copyrighted material. Though, these usually tend to be small timers that are trying to turn a quick buck without sharing. I would think that Victoria Secret could afford to do things legally, though. |

I bet that whoever designed the outfit would probably try and make some excuse as to why its an original piece and not based on something from an anime.
