You really should provide a link to support your claim when you announce something like this.
It wouldn't suprise me one bit if it happened, but just saying "4kids got it" without providing a link is just spreading rumors or inciting fans. |

Yeah, I just saw it. It wasn't on the main page at the time of you're first post. And if it was, this should be in the Talkback section, not in here.
I haven't actually seen any of Pretty Cure yet, but I have the first 26 episodes on my hard drive. I'm not suprised, but I'm still disappointed. |

Okay, I haven't seen any of Pretty Cure, and I don't know too much about it, but...
Though 4kids does have certain reputations for zealous editing, I'm glad to see that another magical girl show is making its way to TV and a new generation of female fans. More new female fans=more market for shoujo anime=more balance in the marketplace, so I'll give 4kids a tentative thumbs-up. Besides, magical girl shows don't tend to have as much violent content as shows like One Piece, so maybe the editing will be limited to BGM and skin/nudity edits along with the standard Americanization. (Again, I don't know anything about PC, so I don't know what they might change.) |

You can bet most (or all) of the names will be changed and their will be pointless plot changes as well. And I hear the girls use some hand-to-hand combat as well, so they may edit some of that too.
