I'm hoping that "Thermae Romae" doesn't get an American remake. I don't know how something like this can work. It's better off being a Japanese production. Besides,we in America don't really have public baths here anymore.

I don't think it's very likely that would happen anyway, but at least if it did the "Romans" in it would actually look caucasian.

It'll be interesting to see how the move on from the end of the first movie. It tied up loose ends pretty thoroughly. Will they retcon it out? Because otherwise, Lucius is spoiler[going to be stuck in Japan; he officially "disappeared" from Roman history at the end of movie 1.]
