For anyone who's been holding off on the show, they may want to think about getting it now. http://animationinsider.net/article.php?forum_id=7&topic_id=2805

It's like 3 DVDs. Each with only 3 episodes -__-

Better than paying the $75 for the same number of eps. Not a whole lot better, but $50 for 9 episodes isn't that bad. Considering you still will pay an average cost MSRP of $30 for 4 episodes on a single DVD, it could be much worse.

Except that Cartoon Network is airing Inuyasha making it (buying the DVDs) relativey less appealing AND the series is over 112 episodes now...
Which translates to about 12 of these box sets- app. 600 dollars. Now, I MIGHT get them. heck i might get all of them eventually- but only of they are released faster and I mean AHEAD of CN. I'm thinking one boxset every two weeks edit: scratch that, inuyasha is at 119 (according to a certain fansub group...) so that makes it 13 boxsets which equals app. 650$. |
