Talk about awsome, I wouldn't mind owning a pair of those. Though I would've had a bigger fangasm if they were in the Naruto 1 color.

They've got a swirly and the konoha sign on them O_o
Admittedly it's bit more tasetful than all of those yugioh shoes you see at walmart all over the place. But it still seems kind of pointless... |

Not exactly my style but at least the design is subtle and not screaming fandom all over them. I could so see some of my friends getting those. At least they didn't put like a huge patch of Naruto on it. Nike still has an image to uphold, maybe.
I wonder if they'll make it to the states. I'd probably laugh if I saw anyone older than 10 wearing those, though. Sorry, I'm not a huge Naruto fan myself. If I were, I'm sure I'd have a more positive outlook on this product. |

lol those are pretty sweet shoes mrgazpacho! I probs wouldn't fork out the money for a pair of Naruto trainers, but I like how they've toned down the fandom-ness so it doesn't scream "NARUTARD!!!!" |

i'm sorry but those are some ugly shoes. i think it's the color that turns me off the most.
why would a ninja wear sneakers anyhow?

When I first read the news I was like you got to be kidding me. But I think Nike did well here. I mean I am a little old to wear something like that but I can see some teenagers pulling it off without being total outcasts.
Someone meantioned the colors, I don't mind orange as they are part of my school colors. |

well if you scrathed off the swirly and the leaf it would essentially just be one really fugly sneaker. I mean there is a point and it's to make a naruto product, if all itt akes to do that is a swirly and a leaf they might as well just start stamping them on anything they can put it on ... I mean if that's all it takes I woudln't be surprised fi they started makign naruto condoms O_o |

Huh. I was expecting one of those cheap shoes like at Payless where they have a plastic picture of one of the characters. But those actually look pretty cool. Not my color though.
