Sorry for the late reply! They're more Murakami-esque (though obviously not at his level), so not deal breakers at all, just a little annoying.

It sounds like an interesting book. I've been trying to catch up on the one-shots that have come out which sound interesting and I'll definitely keep an eye out for this book.
