This cast seems weird to me. Is Funimation doing ADR? Still, should be good. Looking forward to it.

The dub is probably going to ruin the show completely

FUNimation does not have SAO.

uh, how?? You haven't heard the dub. Also it's not like Japan is perfect when they dub our stuff too.

No, it's Bang Zoom. It's not unheard of for Texas VA's to move to the LA area or at least have guest appearances in dubs there (and vice versa).

Cherami Leigh moved to LA a while ago so if your wondering why she's listed here, that's why. It's already been long confirmed as a Bang Zoom dub. Well it;s a somewhat interesting (if predictable) pick for the main leads. Don't have much interest in the show anymore, but might check out the dub.

No, Cherami has recently moved to LA. She still does stuff at FUNi tho. She also played Rin and Yukio's mom in the Blue Exorcist dub

Bryce Papenbrook as Kirito? Called it, though personally I was hoping that Yuri Lowenthal would get the part instead. Either way, I'm pleased.

Cherami Leigh as Asuna, on the other hand? So she really did move to Los Angeles after all. In any case, I'm still weirded out by that choice, seeing as I'm far more accustomed to seeing her in Funimation cast lists.

Well, personally I'm not a fan of English dubs. Also the casting for the leads seem very odd.

Cherami Leigh is way too many lead rolls... And now she's in bangzoom. Kinda disappointing.

So no news on what they're planning to do with said dub, eh?

^ It will be on Neon Alley if I'm not mistaken. I'm personally waiting for the DVD release since I don't have Neon Alley, or even a way of watching it.

Looking forward to this. The cast looks dead-on! Very Happy

That's not a hard feat to accomplish! I didn't find any of the Japanese particularly compelling or unique, so I can't imagine a good dub not fitting well.
