I couldn't agree more, not a big Baseball guy myself, but this does sound interesting, may have to check it out once its done.

I've never heard of this manga before, but going off that short description it sounds like the most generic baseball anime story possible. Hopefully there's more to it than that.

I'm a baseball-buff and a Madhouse fan - and I've watched their One Outs and fell in love with it - so this adaptation would be sick! > u< (Not to mention, IG works on sports series a lot.) Two big-name studious working together is no joke! I'm expecting so much from this even though this was the first time I heard of this title. Plus we could really need more baseball series. (I was thinking lately there was a need for more female baseball titles - but just the usual male baseball players is fine too xD)
