Love Lab

Genres: Comedy, Romance, School

Plot:
The Fujisaki Girls Academy is known for their school body being composed of very proper students. The most prominent one of them is Maki, the student president who is admired by her classmates for her calm and polite demeanor. On the other hand, Kurahashi Riko is also admired but for having a very forward and boyish personality. Riko accidentally walks into Maki while she's practicing kissing with a pillow and learns that she isn't what everyone thinks she is. Riko is forced into keeping Maki's secret and join her in practicing all aspects of romance like holding hands and more. (from MAL)

Episode 1:
Decent episode. It definitely gave me laughs and some of the characters blushed more than I had expected. Oh and lol @ Riko and her fan like weapon. OUCH! I'll keep watching this for laughs which I did get some from the first episode.

Really enjoyed it. The character dynamic between Riko and Maki was excellent. Hopefully once we get more of the cast interacting with eachother that they'll be as humorous as the two leads.

How did you guys watch it so quickly o.o? Anyway even though I am currently not liking the new season because of the all female/slice of life dominance, I really enjoyed the first episode. Both Riko and Maki were highly enjoyable characters. Since romance is a category and this is an all girl school, we might finally have an actual yuri relationship, instead of the yuri tease we got from anime like Yuyushiki.

Episode 1

I did not know there was another series of YuruYuri? Nah it seems different enough to be a little fresh. For some strange reason it is not just YuruYuri that this reminds me of, but Mitsudomoe, the characters seemed to have more polished styles of what used in that, the humour also seems very similar. *does some research* Seems that this has the same director (Masahiko Ohta) as both Yuruyuri and Mitsudomoe, same with the art director (Shunsuke Suzuki), music (Yasuhiro Misawa), Series Composition (Takashi AOSHIMA), Sound director (Yasunori Ebina). YuruYuri's animation Production. The connections between these series are strong, it is like we have the yuri theme of Yuriyuri, mixed with the slapstick style of Mitsudomoe.

I really enjoyed the first episode, the personalities of Maki and Rico were very funny together, I just wonder what will happen with the other two thrown into the mix. Lol at the whole fairy thing.

I enjoyed this first episode quite a bit! As with most debut shows, the animation detail was pretty exquisite and I hope it'll last. The pair had a lot of personality and the gags were cute. Definitely one of the funnier debuts of a comedy anime of the season.

Super-enjoyed the first eppie. The image of spoiler[Riko trying to look "graceful" while running at top speed (during the hankerchief lesson)] had me splitting a gut.

Definitely looking forward to more. I hope they can keep up the comedic momentum.

Fun school life of innocent girls ^^"
*sigh* that girl sure was delusional of how things work in reality.
This anime has potential, but once again, all girls.
That's just not interesting enough for me, even though it has fun moments.
Skipping it.

You couldn't be more spoiler[wrong].

There will be spoiler[guys].

And the comedy then will skyrocket even further.

So this isn't going to be a yuri?

Ok first episode. The joke just gets repetitive fast and Maki just lacks common sense way too much. I understand that she's a ditzy character but this is a whole different level. The cute character design is the only thing pulling me for ep 2.

I mean most of the jokes are just about Maki's lack of common sense with romance. I got tired halfway through. Hopefully addition of new characters will spice things up.

Heh, it seems that the president and treasurer are not too pleased that they were displaced. Another solid comedic episode for me. Maki and Riko are still wonderful and Eno, Sayo, and Suzune all have potential. Especially that laugh by Eno.
