Mad Ugh! Why people are going to manga apdations over onginal light novels!? We really need a kickstarter for light novels.

Well it would be nice to get the light novel of Is This a Zombie? but light novels in the US really dont get released here so the manga will have to do for now

LN has too many words for most people to handle in the states.
yes, we need some kickstarters for LNs.

Light novels are far far far more expensive to translate than manga, and generally don't sell as well, so they're just too expensive for companies to release. Adam Arnold from Seven Seas has said that multiple times in the past when this question comes up.

Though if anybody's in a position to try the Kickstarter idea, it'd be them. How many light novel licenses are they sitting on?
