ichigo 100% manga

With viz releasing volume 1 july 3rd for 16+ for thoes that have read the orginal is there anything bad in it for viz to edit like nudity or anything like they did to i'ss?

yeah after what happend with i''s and they also got the anime rights to hopefully they wont edit it really bad since with dvd's we can have the japanese version with manga we cant.

I didn't finish the series (read up to about volume 10) and its been a long time since I read it, but I don't recall any nudity, so editing shouldn't be a problem. Of course, this is Viz, so there's no telling what they'll do.

Personally, I enjoyed what I read of Ichigo 100% and I'll probably buy it at some point.

Ichigo 100% was published in Jump AKA a shounen magazine, which means no nudity. From what I've seen, there is quite a lot of fanservice though, but not worse than some VIZ manga out there.

Wait, we're talking about the anime? I thought we were discussing the manga.

The only advantage the anime has over the manga is that it takes less time to watch...Both are absolute trash.

Last time I checked, Video Girl Ai & I"s were both serialized in Shonen Jump Japan at one point, and those series had nudity in it. =\

I personally liked the series, since I'm a fan of romantic comedy anime. Though the manga was much better than the anime. Purchasing the series myself is also questionable, as I don't know whether or not I would actually read it again, seeing as it's one of the only 2 series I've read scanned, not to mention buying other series.

I watched the anime, realized how crappy it was, but also realized how much potential it had, and checked out the manga. I just finished it last night, and it was better than any manga I've read. Better than Death Note; better than Love Hina; better than what I've read of Fruits Basket (so what if I havn't read a lot of manga). Some of it was truely halarious, while a lot of it was really heartbreaking, especially volumes 17-19. I really loved the ending though - it was really realistic and it breaks the barriers of how romance in many anime/manga go --- spoiler[read it yourself.] I truely thought it was amazing, so you better buy it....or I'll be stopping by your house later Twisted Evil .


Yeah...Well if you don't really like it, I'd still reccomend reading it till the very end. I read volumes 17-19 at least 5 times already, and I believe that this is how a lot of anime/manga should end. Everybody doesn't get what they want. The only ending of this type that is better than Ichigo 100% is Honey and Clover II. I hope they make a remake for the anime series of Ichigo 100%...it was crap...nothing happened.

Damn, no soul you say? I never realized not finding redeemable qualities in a sappy romance manga could do that to you. Might just have to rethink my life...
Sorry, but I just can't find anything to like about the manga, and I doubt struggling through the rest of it is going to change my mind. No big deal; everyone can't have the same tastes.
