It doesn't sound like a particularly big deal, but at least now Atlus officially has its own title again, it's not Atlus under Index Corp.

Well, Atlus under Index or Atlus under Sega, not much difference really.
And considering that Sega is in the games business themselves, there's still the threat of Atlus being swallowed up completely.

That's kind of what people thought would happen when Disney bought Marvel--yet, that never did. Sega knows that the Atlus name carries too much klout to simply "absorb" like that. They're not about to kill the goose that lays golden eggs.
