The only thing that really sticks out to me from this trailer is the very last thing shown.
Are they gonna start advertising their specific studio divisions now? I [expletive] hope so. It's hard enough keeping track of who's doing what. Ideally that kind of open-ish approach would lead to better direction and focus within each team, as they would actually have somewhat of an identity, an association with specific games that fans can relate to. I would totally dig that. If Square Enix is gonna continue down this path of extreme multitasking and simultaneous development cycles, they need to do something if they want to not fall apart at mach speed. |
