In this month's issue of Newtype. It came with a DVD of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. Now there is one part in this were the boy and girl(Can't of or spell the names at the moment) buy a drink at a little shop. Now this is were it is weird. There's a dog out front with its head always off to the side like /\ /\___ Like that and the store keeper is a little old
| * * <` granny with large white glasses and gray hair. Now after seeing the two I realized they've made an appearance before in one of my favorite animes, FLCL. The episode about the play "Puss 'n' Boots" Naota's dad Kamon is in a shop, that sells Crystal Pepsi, trying to sell his mini zines. Now guess who owns the shop? The little old granny and the wierd dog! I think it's strange. Does any body know about this and can other a explaination??? |

Well...they're both GAiNAX properties, both have the same animation director, and the executive producer of FLCL directed Abenobashi.

Well, personally, I though Sasshi looked an awful lot like Naota in the first place....
