Small correction, but I think that's supposed to be 8.76 Billion.

I had no idea! I love the anime series, so I should definitely check it out. I've underestimated the popularity of Doraemon it seems.

Doraemon actually did better in China than in Japan (overall 2014 was a down year for anime in Japan).
