To me, Death Note counts as 1 of the most controversial manga ever written (that is manga, that doesn't go overload on graphic violence, sex, or distorting Christianity).

I love fat positive characters! this sounds and looks so freaking adorable! Laughing

edit: Though now that I'm re-reading the article, they seem to be throwing mentally ill people under the bus :s

I think what they mean to say is that, usually when you see a fat guy in an anime/manga, he's usually pompous or an otaku, or has some other kind of unpleasant personality quirk. But here, this plump guy could possibly be the main love interest.

Either way I'm definitely curious about it.
