Some peeps down here south have been able to get the App already, so you might want to add Mexico to the list, but it doesn't seem to be working for everyone yet. I myself feel rather disheartened because my cellphone is pretty old (still a Samsung smartphone, just a very old one), so it doesn't have the capacity to install that game. Here's hoping someone gets me a new phone for my birthday so I can finally play a Pokemon game -one of my greatest childhood dreams that never came true due to money constrictions-

Only had it installed for half a day and already it's proving a potentially dangerous exercise.
Using it whilst driving is effective and addicting!

The moment this app results in a fatal car crash or traffic accident when some stupid kid rushes into oncoming traffic it will be slam dunked into the trash where it will join Swapnote. I would say there should be age restrictions, but this is Pokemon we're talking about. Just stick to the handheld games, this idea isn't that amazing.

Your reasoning it weird here. If kid gets ran over it's the game's fault, and therefore should be banned or age restrictive? Should kids not get to play with 3DSes, read book, play with balls, etc? Cause lots of people do that do and it requires them to be aware of their surroundings as well.

I appear to be receiving conflicting information here. Someone I know on Twitter claims to have caught a Drowzee on the Tube today.

Or we could teach our children personal responsibility.

Nope its no longer working. No Pokemon Gym and Shop detected and no Pokemon to catch but game is still working fine. I guess they already blocked the access for people outside Australia and New Zealand.

I'm probably overreacting. I was only thinking that the possibility that kids will get lost or run into roads does exist and so the app should be regulated more.
