If he's a producer on the game does he have any say in what happens with the anime?

From what i've heard, the Producer said that season 2 will be considered if the mobile game gets ranked on top 5. He never said that is certain they will make a new season.

Well, if the game be a success, the Producer can try make a new season of the anime for marketing.

「アプリ国内売り上げランキング5位以内に入ったらアニメ2期を作る」
The producer's statement was more direct that just considering making a new season.

According to another report at the same event, the producer added that his company Asobimo would sponsor a new season by itself if need be.

Neat. I recently re-watched season 1 of this - had a lot more problems than I remembered, but it was still entertaining. Wouldn't mind watching a second season
