As botched as it was, I really liked the 1st season, and if trials and tribulations is getting at least 12 episodes to finish, then I have high hopes that this will be much improved.

Must've done better in Japan than many people assumed. It did manage to get in the top 10 ratings spot for almost every episode, after all; does that have something to do with it?

Awesome! I loved the first season
 I've always been interested in the games but hated the censoring and localization in the American releases, so it was nice to finally have an anime option to watch.

Well the first season was kinda ok, but I'm sceptical if really need this one tough. T&T is my favourite game in the series and I really don't want them to butcher it....
