That's an amazing premise. And it's written by the author of Konosuba, so that already sounds very promising!

I have to give them props. How many isekai premises had the main character as a wrestler who pretty much says "screw saving the world, I'm opening a pet shop!"?

From the creator of Konosuba? I’m very intrigued by this news. The premise sounds pretty wacky, but fun, so I’m curious to know what staff would be working on this.

I've been reading the manga of this for a while. Yes, it's isekai (ugh), but it's missing most of the isekai cliches and it's quite funny. The guy has no ambition other than to love all animals to death by hugging and squeezing them.

He does get a 'harem', but he's not really interested in them since they're not full animal, and some are initially attracted but then realize what a freak he is, so sexual tension is pretty much zero.

Instead of being the Strongest Cheat Slave Waifu Genius Conqueror, respected and feared by all, he's just semi-famous as the weird pervert who runs the local pet shop.

And don't come expecting plot or drama, it's just light comedy. So even if you don't like isekai it's worth a look.

This isn't even close to some of the parody isekai I have heard about but a masked wrestler going to another world but rejects being a hero to open a pet store has to be one of the more humorous isekai to get an anime adaptation. It looks like it will be cute show and since it is made by the Konosuba author it should be good.

All these isekai anime, and still no anime for that isekai vending machine.
