Oh, hooray, they're going the Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 route and repackaging the OVA as a TV series with terrible cut off points and mangled pacing. Well, at least we should get a few new songs out of it.
Come on, Sunrise, just animate the full manga. Even if Yas doesn't want to direct, you can find somebody who will.

The inevitable dancing around what the public wants continues. Unless that live action movie (if it ever gets made, they haven’t even gotten a director, much less casting or principle photography) is an adaptation of The Origin manga as a movie trilogy ala the old trilogy, there’s no real reason NOT to do a proper Origin adaptation.

Right, they could of gone the movie trilogy route like they are with Hathaway's Flash.
