This new manga series is simply Inuyasha meets Rinne.
Unfortunately, Takahashi didn't even try to make it a little different.

I feel is more like a serious Rinne. Hopefully if some day get a anime it would get improved. So far all Rumiko manga are better in anime.

Public relations, I believe.

And yeah, the concept of this manga sounds wildly cliche. I loved Inuyasha as a kid but it seems like this has already been done before so it feels like we're not getting anything new. There is not much variation to her character designs either, all I see is the same faces. A common criticism of Inuyasha was that she constantly recycled plots and devices over and over, so it's not surprising if this applies to making different manga stories in general.
I wonder how this manga will set itself apart from her previous works.

Well if MAO will make it into an anime in the near future then it'll be better than one from Kyoukai No Rinne & of course some of the characters of MAO had been borrowed or recycled from other Rumiko Takahashi's previous works like this female character by the name of spoiler[Lady Shouko & you'd might recognize her appearance from the manga in which is she's a miko/shrine maiden just like Kikyou from Inuyasha but unlike Kikyou, she's actually a psychic/fortune teller from a religious cult and not a female archer & have a magical spell].

And of course, just like Inuyasha, MAO also foretells about time travel in which spoiler[the era of this latest manga works of Rumiko Takahashi' was on the early 20th century Japan by around the 1920s]. So yeah that's it for my spoiler on MAO.
