I'm gonna assume these knights being the "Four Horsemen" is just for cool points & will have no major effect on how the characters act or represent.
Just like the whole thing with the Sins being the "worst criminals" of the kingdom. Turns out none of them are morally ambiguous or anything like that so being Sins is just to give off a cool appearance than anything else.

The manga's had it's ups and downs, but overall I've been pretty pleased with the characters and stories, so I'm looking forward to this, as well as whatever the author's next work is.
...Unless this is the next work? Article's a bit unclear on that actually. Is this sequel going to be a short-run follow-up (sort-of like The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring or whatever it was called by Kishimoto, prior to Boruto being a thing), or is it itself the 'new work' that the author's working on and will last a long time presumably?

Nah they also end UNLESS it's so popular and profitable then definitely the publisher will milk it
