So does this Manga add more story lines or something? Because assume this is going to 8 volumes that's like 64 issues.

Also what about Breath of the Wild? does that have a Manga too?

Breath of the Wild would be even longer.

I think this is so,long because for once it's not aimed at a younger audience like the rest of the Zelda manga. So they have more time to tell the story.
