I don't get what "anime porn" has to do with this guy other than he seems to be bringing it up out of the blue and for no reason at all except "anime porn is evil!" so he can push some sort of agenda and make himself look good. Dragon Ball doesn't contain erotic content? I seem to recall a scene in the Majin Buu arc where Master Roshi is squeezing 18's boobs and rubbing his face in them, where he then gets sent flying out of the plane they were all riding in for being his usual perverted self.

I tried to search a bit about him, and once I saw him labeled as QAnon-affiliated conspiracy theorist I stopped, because that's enough for me to know the guy's got a few screws loose...

Either that or perhaps one of his constituents or campaign people thought it was a good idea to get him to talk about it? But in the end all it does is paint him like a fool because of the obvious inaccuracy. Alas there is nothing new about many politicians being completely ignorant of the subject matter they are discussing.
DBZ has some sex-based humor in it but I certainly wouldn't call it "porn" or "erotica" or in the true sense of the word. It's meant to be funny rather than titillating for the viewer. And really, even if someone was up in arms about fictional boobies surely they could have picked a better title to crusade against than a 30-year-old action themed children's show. I hope nobody tells this guy about real anime erotica. |

So what was the actual catalyst for this comment? This just seems so random, it's not like there was some high profile NSFW anime making the rounds recently, right? Did his kids pick up Uzaki-chan or Monster Girl Doctor this season and the old man found out?

Pfff he was just looking for an easy way to get tons of hentai without it being suspicious "I swear honey, those 3 TB of hentai were just people sending it to me on twitter".
To be fair, there's a couple of early chapter in the manga were the fan service was turned pretty high, I think you see Bulma breast (she might have been underage too) a few times and you definitely see Goku penis quite a few times. |

I don’t know everyone. I remember seeing Yajirobe’s fundoshi and Nappa’s speedos as a kid and later realizing I was gay and into chubs and bara. (True story!) Maybe it is porn and we just didn’t know it!
Also you gotta love how DBZ was mentioned specifically despite it being very tame compared to DB. |

Also, Dragon Ball's names were another reason why manga/anime was considered satanic in Latin America. But hey, there's nothing more tempting than forbidden things. |
