Elda got her Golden Frog Panzer, yay!!! I love how she got it, too. Yes, it could have just been given to her, but so much more satisfying - after she'd overcome her social shyness to get the five stamps - to let her think she actually won the lottery. I love how the whole neighborhood watches over her. It's too bad she's so sensitive about her adorable ears because she is so loved by her worshippers. |

Summary: The shrine is visited by another elf, Haira, and her miko, Isuzu Koimari, a social media influencer that Koito admires. Unbeknownst to Isuzu, Haira lost all of their money through gambling, so Koito invites them to stay the evening. That night, Isuzu reveals to Koito her own expensive hobby. So it seems elves tend to have some sort of vice. Elda spends money on expensive otaku items and Haira is a gambler. I can't remember if Yord had a vice or not. So basically elves are adorable but troublesome. It ain't easy being a miko...

Ah yes, the latest episode had a real good balance between laughs and a bit of contemplation on how immortality would be a really mixed bag.You meet a lot of people, but sooner or later you will lose them again.

Aw, I feel bad that Elda's HG 1/144 Mobile Warrior "Gongem" 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Clear Version plastic model got broken. But yeah, it is kind of her fault for letting her room get too messy and then leaving it on the floor. But on the other hand Koito should have 'fessed up right away because for sure Elda could have done a much better repair job. Oh well, lesson learned (probably not, though). Dang, only one episode left. I haz the sadz. |

Agreed, the series is such a comfy watch. I look forward to every episode and it feels like I could never grow tired of all the crazy antics. Last episode upcoming though.

So I watched a few episodes yesterday, having seen Blood talk about this show over in the Skip and Loafer thread. I originally didn't try it because it seemed kind of like a one joke anime and - I'm aware this sounds stupid - I don't enjoy visualizing elves with long ears sticking out at 45 degree angles like Yoda. But I enjoyed the first few episodes and I'll watch this show during the season interim. It was goofy and cute.

I'm glad you seem to be enjoying it and I hope you continue to do so. It's always a weighty responsibility when you cause someone to start watching a show. 
Episode 12 (Finale) I'm rating this show Very Good. It was one of my favourites of the season. A highlight for me was the work of Elda's seiyuu, Ami Koshimizu, whose soft, stammering delivery was perfect for the role and went especially well with Elda's super deformed design to produce maximum cuteness. I'm not a big re-watcher of titles but I can see me returning to this and in the not too distant future. Thinking very seriously of collecting the manga, too. |
