Taking aside the very "advertorial" nature of this thing, Rob sounds like a complete idiot & jackass with that second line. Yes, he got hired by Crunchyroll in 2008, which would go on to become the monopoly it is today, but while he was getting hired the American anime industry itself was falling apart because of the 00s anime bubble bursting. So if now reminds him of the anime industry in 2008, that means that he's expecting it all to fall apart at any moment, with a brand new company rising from Crunchyroll's ashes. Utter genius from this guy, I swear. |
