It's kind of incredible that out of all Japanese third-parties, Konami is one of the most successful on Switch, though with titles that only appeal to gamers from that region. I wasn't expecting too much on One Piece Odyssey, the game sold 35k on PS4 and 27k on PS5 one and half year ago, but the thing is that late ports on Switch don't tend to be great sellers, save for some very rare exceptions, the same thing happened with Ace Combat 7 DX a couple of weeks ago. That's one of the things I'm worried about the Switch successor's launch, I'm imagine plenty of third-parties would want to release some of the games that couldn't run on the base Switch, but I don't think they'll have a lot of sales potential, don't think there's a lot of people that would double dip just for the portable factor or that there's a lot of Nintendo-only players that are waiting for ports of games like Persona 3 Reload, Visions of Mana, Street Fighter 6, among others. It'll be more interesting if the Switch 2 will receive new releases the same day as other consoles
