Assuming the anime will indeed skip Vol. 1, then these new characters pretty much confirm that the anime will adapt Volumes 2, 3 & 4.
Also, apart from Raissa (well, Liza in Yen Press's translation) and Sozon, the other 2 were not illustrated in the LN so this is my first time seeing their character designs.

I still can't wrap my head around that decision. How can they skip the beginning of the story which sets the foundations for eveything else? Now that it's clear they're adapting 3 volumes, they definitely won't even be able to add flashbacks about it. And it's not like volume 1 is weak, it's honestly still one of my favourites in the series. I really don't get it.
On a different note, do we know where it'll be simulcast?

It's an Remow title, so their It's Anime YouTube channel, Prime Video for international audiences, also AnimeOnegai for latin america viewers.

I'll be honest, I've never heard of Remow before. Do they only simulcast in Latin America? What about the rest of the world?
