Not really sure the point of trying to promote Metallic Roouge but love that they're putting Anne Shirley out there! The anime has been fantastic!

Don't remind me of Metallic Rouge, I remember being hyped just by looking at the promotional poster, I thought it could have become a hit series like Lycoris Recoil, but I dropped it after a couple of episodes because it was so confusing, I thought the show was going to be more fun and lighthearted, but it was plain confusing, it's kind of telling that one of its writers is working on Lazarus, which I have some similar issues with, but at least Lazarus is not that confusing.

Good to see some consideration for one of the great classic female characters of anime.

...oh, and Anne Shirley too. Great show. Really!

Talk about a cast (and OP) that deserved a better show.

MR was truly an embarrassment for Bones, especially since, in case you didn't know, it was apparently made to celebrate the studio's 25th anniversary. You'd think they would've took the time to flesh out the story better and cut back on the excessive amount of antagonists it has before its release, but nope, this was the best they could come up somehow. They probably should've waited until their 30th anniversary or something.

Even putting the quality aside I don't see the reasoning of putting a show that's a year old now up with a newly airing show.

The show had a considerable amount of hype when it was first announced, as mentioned above, it was made to conmemorate Bones 25th anniversary, it was an original project and it looked pretty cool, at least visually speaking, but the series' plot was kind of confusing and wasn't very interesting, I don't remember anyone talking about the show once once the first few episodes were released. Don't know how well did the Metallic Rouge perform, but I think Bones had some high expectations, it even got dubbed into multiple languages by Crunchyroll, and as someone who watched the first few episodes in Neutral Spanish, the one thing I can say is that the dub was good, it had a great cast, Rouge shared the same VA with characters like Pepesha from SHY, Abby from Great Pretender and Amber from Invincible, while Naomi shares the same voice with characters such as Hitori Gotoh, Koshitan from Nokotan and Kiruko from Havenly Delusion, but not even a good dub could keep me invested.
The series was very forgettable

Funny that Monica Flatley voiced or voiced both of the titular characters in their Eng. versions.

Metallic Rouge was a show that started off with a lot of promise but turned into a confusing mess with underused characters and lackluster animation and it just became boring later on. This seems to be a problem with these studio anniversary shows.
