Most of the titles directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri from the '90s and before are full of occasional gratuitous nudity. He's infamous for making very violent and racy anime (with more emphasis on the violence). He has a very distinct visual style that I, personally, like to label as a kind of classic. In fact, Ninja Scroll is one of my all-time favorite anime movies.
