Now is the time. It's got the winds of big muscle fight anime hits like Jojo, Baki, Record of Ragnarok, Kengan Ashura behind it.

If they knock it out of the park, this really could be a big international hit.

Curious how much this will actually be HnK Brotherhood, or if they'll get to the final fight with Raoh and call it a day

Seems to be sonething right up Netflix' alley. From Baki to Ragnarok, they love their brawl anime.

I hope they get some solid seiyu this time instead of hiring celebrities.

If they're showing the trailer at the Warner Bros. panel at Anime Expo, it'll likely end up on HBO Max.

I just finished watching the True Savior film series. Great to know it's coming next year!

Side note: Robbie Daymond is a great Kenshiro. The English cast made these movies better imo, so hopefully they'll return for this remake.

Surprisingly, very few of the WB Japan anime have aired on HBO Max save the Batman films. Record of Ragnarok and JoJo are both Netflix shows (with JoJo also having the open license for its earlier parts), and DanMachi is on HiDive. This is probably but not assuredly Netflix bound.

Finally after 2 years

Hope they don’t censor much from the manga.

As someone who enjoyed Toei's adaptation just fine, despite the amount of filler, I'm only interested in two things: whether they won't tone down the gore this time around, and whether they'll adapt the post-Kaioh arcs. Here's hoping this remake will deliver on both counts.

Full-on reboots always have a new Japanese cast. The manga´s first of 2.5 arcs is wonky as hell but it´s fun if they trim the fat and update it. There rest, let´s not even go there.
The manga´s power system is one of the worst Jump has ever cooked up. Pressure points might as well be magic. Anything can happen, anything.
