I mean, I'll take it. I love Suikoden II.

But, Konami, if you're releasing anime of your games again, any chance you could do a modern release of the Salamander OVA? It never got a Western release and you've been sitting on it since the Japanese laserdisc released about 36 years ago...

*looks at Konami Animation entry page*
That's quite a short portfolio. Should we be worried? Sad

The division was founded last year. This will be their first major test.

It is just founded, so there is really nothing to show off yet for them.
So yeah, we only should be worried when the actual promo material gotta be shown.

Starting off with Suikoden of all thing is a bit bold for their first project. We'll see how this goes

I think people would complain if Kojima wasn't involved and given his dedication to western Hollywood movies I don't know if he'd be interested in an anime production or his older works anymore.

Jason DeMarco once claimed he asked Kojima to sign off on a Metal Gear anime and Kojima laughed him out of the building.

Salamander was given a UK-exclusive VHS release in the 90s by the infamous Western Connection, but it definitely does deserve a new release in general.

While I would have liked to have them start with the first game and make new seasons for the following games if it was successful, it's no surprise that it's adapting 2 considering it's generally regarded as the best one.

Looks like I need to move it up in my backlog lol

I would too, if I saw DeMarco's portfolio.
