Huh, I've got the JPN version, its a beautiful box with 3BDs and 2 CDs. I think it came with an extra book as well. I'm out of town so I cant look at my copy right now to check. Its taken what 7 years to put this release out? I wonder if they will be doing a new dub, since Netflix dubs tend to be expensive to get.

I'm pretty sure Andrew would have implied if it was new or not.

Love what we made - Blue Giant Deluxe sized & taking the best of the Animation Making Book alongside the whole incredible art book that came with the JP set in one Deluxe Edition, including English dub!

US pre-orders should also be up soon via @Crunchyroll and @ShoutFactory Smile

After what happened with Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045, it would have been subtitled-only so they actually did right here and pay Netflix this time like Discotek did for Cyborg 009 Vs. Devilman's dub.

Can't wait for Crunchyroll to once again show their blatant disingenuity and utter ineptitude by claiming they have no way to ship something of this shape and size without it being damaged, and then refusing to do returns, refunds, or replacements.

I was one of the lucky ones with Macross Plus but yeah, too many people had theirs arrive with dents so I'm a little worried for this one myself.

Glad to see this is finally getting a western release. I think I'll pass on another giant box though even if that is probably a great art book.
Maybe if they put out a standard edition I'll pick it up.

Seven Seas already has released the manga. Unfortunately, it's out of print.

Cool!
Any chance of getting the Sailor Moon Crystal movies on video too? I think that'd be awesome. Wink

From their Facebook announcing the set.

Due to licensor holdbacks, there’s no date for a potential standard edition at this time.

Considering their main markets are the UK and France, probably not since Crunchyroll has the license to the original in both countries (in France's case, through their absorbing of Kaze who already had that and part of Crystal).

Wow, I’m shocked a Netflix series is actually getting a Blu-ray release in the US! If it’s not too pricey I’ll have to pick up a copy for myself. Now if only we could get so many other fantastic series, like Romantic Killer, Blue Period, Pluto, etc. on Blu-ray.

The movies had Blu-ray releases in Mexico. I don’t remember if they have an English dub or not, but they do have English subs if you don’t care about the dub. Those discs will play in all Blu-ray players in North America.
