I mean this applies to every mangaka in existence. Should all of them suddenly end their work?
And we don't know the cause of this break, it could be a cold for all we know.

Genuinelly yes. The current model for manga publishing is unsustainable and the number of mangaka who have just straight up died from it proves as much. If the industry won't change then maybe every mangaka should go on strike.
