From what I can gather, Marina Lisa Komiya is a Japanese-American from Atlanta, Georgia who lives in Japan and is queer.

This only runs two volumes so I guess there is a chance they will publish the whole thing. Of course the article shows they have only committed to volume one. After what they did with Wandering Son, I don't really trust Fantagraphics

Heads up that Fantagraphics just announced a new paperback version of Wandering Son for next year, so it's a possibility they might finish it.
