I love the series, but I admit I am a little disillusioned, I was expecting the series to double and triple down on the joke and make Purson actually super important for the plot.
Like, show a lot of flashbacks of stuff that both happened and did not showing how he was actually crucial for the class victories and that everybody would be dead without him.
But apparently his bloodline magic it's just being hard to notice, kinda lame if you ask me.

Season three was pretty underwhelming, but I’m still excited for more Iruma.

Thankfully the new season seems to be done with the tournament style storytelling and back to the classroom shenanigans. I was interested in season 3 but it dragged too much especially compared to the nonstop revelations in season 2.
