As overall happy as I am with this trailer I admit I can’t help but still worry, mainly just because I don’t know when the team started working on the anime and with 2026 confirmed that means we have less than a year for the team to work on it before air. I really hope the team actually had a good schedule this time and can truly give the anime the production value it deserves. This next season is pretty much the ultimate chance for the Black Clover anime to not only redeem itself but finally bring it to that next level of popularity I think it truly deserves. So many people I know have finally gotten into the series during this hiatus and it makes me so happy to see BC’s popularity actually continue to grow in this time, but the fact is the anime was poorly handled. I love the BC anime and feel comfortable in saying it justified its existence but I can’t deny it had severe production issues that held the show back from being as good as it could have been. Thankfully the movie managed to show what the team was capable with an actual schedule and this trailer does breed confidence but is this truly indicative of the final product? I want to believe it will be and I am praying it is, but in this current era of anime nothing is guaranteed. I hope the animators have as much time as possible and this new season is as good and this trailer looks. Black Clover is my favorite Jump manga of its generation and now is the time for its chance to shine.
