is scarlet any good or is just that Hosoda is one of those creators that get immediate nominations whenever they make anything? outside of 100 meters and chainsaw-man i haven't heared of any other great movies from this year.

The movie completely flopped commercially, and critically the response was tepid from professional critics and outright hostile from the public. It's very much a case of an awards show giving him a nod because of name recognition Outside of 100 Meters and Reze, there was Lupin, Dragon Maid, Housenka, and Toritsukare Otoko, though none of them would fit within the criteria of the Annie Awards I imagine |
