Good heavens do they know how to beat a horse until it’s completely dead and then some more just because.

Mugen Train movie is one of the few things I think should have been far less successful. It’s explosive success has only lead to bad ideas

Huh? This is the first ever adaption of Mahoutsukai no Yoru. It's not even a Fate game. O_o

My bad, I forgot to quote:
Quote:
The TV rebroadcast of the entire Demon Slayer anime starting on April 5 and airing every Sunday at 9 a.m. on Fuji TV
. They also just announced that Infinity Castle Part 1 will be rereleased in theaters.

I'm pretty sure Takeuchi wasn't involved with Mahoutsukai no Yoru; from what I remember, Nasu wrote it as his first novel, with finishing it and the positive reactions from the few people who read it (IIRC, Nasu printed just five copies of the manuscript, two of which were given to Takeuchi and his brother) being what lead to him pursuing writing as a career. Even the art for the kinetic novel was handled by Koyama Hirokazu rather than Takeuchi.

I wonder if the Kimetsu TV roadshow isn't a run up to a TV edit of Infinity Castle.

Why was God Eater 2 and 3 briefly shown? They only did 1 season.
It would be great if they announced that they would make an anime for those 2 games, but I am not sure if that is the plan.

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what they’re planning, and depending on when parts 2 and 3 of Infinity Castle release they might even go further than that. Demon Slayer is currently at 63 episodes, and since the rebroadcast is starting on April 5th it’ll run until at least June 20 2027. We don’t know when the second and third movies will air for Infinity Castle but I think we can at least be confident that the second movie will be out by then. It wouldn’t surprise me if the entire reason for this rebroadcast is so that after they finish re-airing up to the Hashira Training arc, they can go right into a 13 episode rebroadcast of the first 2 Infinity Castle movies, and then release the final movie in the trilogy either right after that finishes airing, or at least reveal the release date for the final movie after that rebroadcast.

It's the first time I see the "Genshin Impact" logo without the "Impact"

It’s because they animated the openings for God Eater’s 2 and 3, they also showed at least art for the main characters of all of the Tales games since Xillia in that reel even though they only adapted Symphonia and Zestiria as anime adaptations.

The handling of the touken ranbu movie has been, quite frankly, horrendous. The ufotable series was pretty but ultimately empty so it's not like I had high hopes, but how is it still under the nebulous "future projects" despite being older than everything else on this list? Well I guess they at least said something unlike with girls work

There's nothing to say about Girls Work, the guy who would have directed it left the studio a decade ago now. It's been 16 years, it's time to let it go

Girls work been dead, I'm the last person that needs to be convinced especially when the main writer hasn't been working on his other light novel either. I'm just baffled that they never just officially cancelled it

Nice highlight of their past and future, and glad to have confirmation we'll be getting Witch on the Holy Night this year!

I'm curious how the Genshin anime will handle the dual protagonists.
