A truly sad day for pop songs, easy listening genre. Created songs that I and my generation adored and if there is any consolation, it is that his works have outlived him and will no doubt be loved and remembered for generations to come... Crying or Very sad

I was prepared to mention Dara Sedaka providing the vocals to "Angel Queen" from the 1982 Queen Millennia film but the article beat me to it.

Condolences to Mr. Sedaka's family, friends, colleagues and many, many fans.

Such a shame. I really love Zeta - Toki wo Koete, it's a shame it has never been available on any of the Western releases of the show. RIP sir, you were a talented man.
