I can't believe we're getting Miyuki Sawashiro headlining a Villainess anime. Like I don't think she's been in a single one, now that I think about it.
Also I just love how they have Rie Takahashi as the initial girl that reincarnates into the Villainess before things go wrong. It's probably unintentional but it feels like a deliberate homage to Aileen, whom Rieri voiced, right down to the blonde hair and blue dress.
Also this looks like it's going to have the best production values of a Villainess anime since From Bureaucrat to Villainess.

So, something like this season's Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom, but with a darker tone and the lingering villainess soul like Holy Grail of Eris? Or is it perhaps darker than Eris?

Eris is focused on mystery and revenge through Connie. The story here has similar vibes without solving a mystery. The story is pure revenge of an OP cunning villainess that made sure that the people that hurt "her" would be punished worst than death.
