Looking at the list I think I need to put my Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer BD in a safety deposit box. Might have to grab a few of these releases mainly Black Rock Shooter and Robot Carnival 4K.

Having every Urusei Yatsura movie except for the one most people would be looking for is very funny

That's Toho's fault. They're the primary licensor for Beautiful Dreamer, and considering they've been attempting to release their own movies themselves (or through GKids), it's likely they wouldn't let Discotek re-release it.

Beautiful Dreamer has always been a separate license. Back in the VHS and early DVD era, Media Blasters had it while Animeigo had all the remaining movies. When Animeigo released the movies on DVD as a box set, they included space for the Media Blaster DVD. They also cooperated with Media Blaster to have the same trade dress on the cover.

Curious about something. Is there a reason why the following wasn't written: "Disclaimer: MediaOCD owner Justin Sevakis was the founder of ANN." Is it because he hasn't owned ANN for so long?

I wish they would put in Mazinkaizer ova and the great general darkness movie on their site. Im not sure if it's oop but finding them is getting rare and people are asking way too much for them.

Does it being in Deep Dives mean it's going to go away from other stores (like Amazon) slowly? I'm trying to hold out for as long as I can for the sake of my wallet, but if Ghost Stories is limited quantity now, shit...

Also, forever grateful I decided to randomly buy the Beautiful Dreamer DVD (despite not having seen any UY) when I did.

Yeah, I mean I like the idea of the Deep Dives thing, but I'm not paying MSRP for anime releases. If they give me a good sale then I'll be all over them.

I just hope that Toho cares enough to get GKids to re-release the film on 4K/Blu ray at this point - would be nice to own the second movie in HD+ without having to take out a loan.

Almost correct. It was Central Park Media, not Media Blasters.
