S2 E10:
I appreciate the second season for balancing the comfy slice of life fluff with events taking place. So far we have had the new citizens/towns, the dungeon crisis/spa resort and the fighting tournament. The new human citizens make for another fun event and not a single one seems to be normal. Cast away nobles, a royal, a spirit magician and a dragon priestess: plenty of special cases. That one guy seemingly being normal is indeed the biggest red flag. The end seems to suggest another event taking place. |

S2 E11:
Not many anime manage to make a conflict feel both silly and epic at the same time. Due to the great music setting the mood, dark past of the angels/godkin and the way the conflict played out Farming Life succeeded in doing so. The bit at the end with the lady just wanting to be freed and not caring at all anymore about the prophecy was also great fun. |

This (episode 11) was my favorite episode of season 2. I think the anime played to its strengths and instead of spending any time at all on the monster battles (other than some distant explosion clouds) it made the scene silly and dwelt on the slice of life stuff that is this anime's bread and butter IMHO. The second scene with the demon advisor and the fruit/jam tea continued the trend.
The castle demons could have been Konosuba characters. |

I think the new demon guy was my favourites in the show in a while. It kind of usually has a problem making interesting male characters.
