I think it's important to remember that midterms are coming, and you all need to vote. So that Trump should never make these idiotic videos again.

Kinda ironic since Naruto borrows its roots from Okayama which is nearly identical to the Leaf Village while most of the story is also based on Hiroshima. Meanwhile, the ending of the series was based on post-Cold War era where people had to avoid the same war happen again.

corpo just needs to start including "any use in political content will be sued" in future legal licensing contracts that way when he does it again (he has done this multiple times) they can sue him for its use.

Not really. This is just a case of people only finding it funny when their side was doing it and now people have to grapple with the fact it's being used against them now because now the American conservative party is started to skewing younger and is finally catching up to being more 'hip'. The left loved it when Ilhan Omar posted art of herself in a Gundam, Biden used Animal Crossing to recruit voters, and Hillary dropped the Pokemon Go To The Polls thing. If we're including non-official things then we can name hundreds of instances of liberals using Japanese IPs to push a political message including the grey area of official voice actors of characters going on political rants and using the characters they provide the voice for in them.

Sorry I can’t think of a response to the idea that Donald Trump is “hip and cool to the youngsters.” It’s just so so wildly funny and self degrading that I don’t think anything else needs to be said while laughing at the absurdity.

You don't want this. This will lead to a bunch of 19 year old artists being sued into the dirt because they drew an anime character holding a pride flag. Pushing for more draconian censorship and control never bodes well.
Copyright law already exists but apparently according to these people these videos don't violate them. Transformative use I guess? Fair enough. In general I believe people should not use media for political stuff but realistically I know people will never afford that courtesy towards others so abiding by that will only put you at a disadvantage. "Taking the high road" doesn't work in today's society. So let the meme wars commence I guess.

Key difference is those were used far most tastefully than anything the Trump Administration has appropriated content for, some of which have been without the permission of the rights holders who have asked them to stop doing so.

Do any of those poltical messages involve demonizing immigrants? demonizing people making valid and reasonable criticism of terrible government government policies? disparaging women and LGBTQ people?
Think you need to actually do research to understand how the use of this stuff is different when liberals use it versus how conservatives use it. Instead of good ol fashioned whataboutism.

He wanted to be a savior for the US once, failed. Tried again. Failed. Now he has this unnatural urge to be a hero so he decided to enter conflicts no one wanted to be in.
Those in the US who can vote, do it at midterms.
